Freelancing With A.D.H.D.

By August 8, 2013February 28th, 2022No Comments2 min read

ritolinTo start I am not even sure I have A.D.D., however when I was a child having trouble concentrating in school, a few doctors gave me testsĀ  I was put on a little yellow pill. I have been off that pill for over 20 years and times I can’t focus, but that seems normal with the distractions of 2013.

This is not an uncommon story however when I got older I found I did not really enjoy doing the same thing every day. Actually I could not even handle it, and it resulted in lack of interest in several of my jobs. However with deeply engrained pride in work, I stuck it out hoping to learn as much as I could so I would never have to do those jobs again.

As I found myself working many jobs that were much closer to the world I wanted to be a part of (Creative) I found this to be a very good way to focus as you can’t focus when there is so much all the time coming at you. So my so called A.D.D. came in handy.

Now as a freelancer I have the ability to jump from one project to the other without bordem EVER! Stress yes, but it comes with the territory!
