The New York Sun, I served as a production designer focused on increasing ad-driven revenue through high-impact newspaper layouts. My core responsibility was designing full-page advertorials and promotional content to boost app awareness and attract advertisers. Working with a lean team, I transitioned production from QuarkXPress to Adobe InDesign, creating a streamlined system for layout consistency, faster turnaround, and higher print fidelity. I built asset libraries, cleaned low-res client ads, and ensured every layout was press-ready—supporting both the paper’s visual identity and its bottom line. My work helped reinforce the newspaper’s value to advertisers and contributed to overall sales performance.
